Depending on the model # of your refrigerator. The refrigeration system that removes the heat from your freezer in all likelihood also does the same for your refrigerator or medium temp. side of your unit. Usually the medium temp. side simply iggy backs off your freezer. Usually there is a vent or fan that circulates the inside air of both in a circular pattern around your unit. The heat in the air is first picked up in the inside ( back ) of your freeze. It is then forced by convection or fan through a hole in the lower part of your freezer at the wall that separates the freezer and refrigerator. As the air now picks up heat jet rises up through your shelves either by the convection or the fan in the freezer that either pushes or pulls the air in the circular pattern. Once it arrives back at the freeezer evaporator coils it releases the heat it has gained to the cold coil and then the cycle simply repeats itself. So, your problem is a possible blockage in the hole between the sides or a bad fan that should assist in moving the air. So open the freezer door and listen for the fan motor running and proceed from there.
